My feeling is that once you can successfully crack an egg, you deserve a chef's hat. They have been inducted into Aunt Heather's Hall of Egg Fame. So, so very proud.

I sooo needed this. To know it's OK to stop doing and just _be_ with my kids. Thank you.

Tell Joshua he can come cook at our house, too. Andy and Brady love it. Between the two of them, they flawlessly cracked six eggs yesterday for our scrambled eggs!

I know what you mean! I think our entire lawn has been picked clean of the "sunflowers"- that is so cute- so we are down to the "puff flowers". I try and try to get them to last longer than an afternoon, but they wilt so quickly.

And poor Tim, his allergies are so bad, had to stick the above bouquet somewhere else, so he wouldn't itch so bad. That is part of why I took a picture. So I would have a memory of pretty flowers actually inside the hous. So the "puffball" flowers the kiddos bring are also a temporary beauty, but a beauty nonetheless.

Those flowers are pretty, but they aren't quite as pretty as the "bouquet" [bunch] of "sunflowers" [dandelions], twigs and, well, blades of grass the boys picked for me last week. THAT was beautiful. :D

I know we’ve said it before that Connor and Berrett (Bo & Bear) act like twins, but this post is scary. Connor did the exact same “‘pider” thing to Nate this morning. He wiggled his little fingers up Nate’s arm and shrieked that it was a ‘pider! Too funny.

My husband rides bikes and is always trying to get me on one. I used to love them. Now to be honest, I am a wee bit afraid of calamity involving me crashing to the pavement just in time for a Mac Truck to roll by. :-) I guess I need to find a good bike path.

Ha, I can relate to this. I started putting notebooks by my bed when I was a teenager and worried about homework for the next day. And I told myself to never drink Coke after 3PM (yes, I needed to write that in my notebook). Now I worry about the same kind of stuff you do. And I kick myself under the covers for having that last cup of coffee. It never ends...even WITH a notebook, I'm afraid.
